2. What makes Tahoe Green stand out from other property caretaking, or green home cleaning companies?

We have 20+ years of experience in the industry. Great customer service. Our staff is trained in high-end home care. We use only eco-friendly products. We have an excellent local reputation, because of our dependable service.

3. What do we charge for eco-friendly “regular” or “deep” cleaning?

Our new rate for 2024 is $65 “per hour, per employee,” for eco-friendly regular cleaning and we supply effective green cleaning products. We charge $75.00 “per hour, per employee” for “deep”, or “spring” cleaning. We have a $15 travel charge per cleaning.

4. What do we charge for property caretaking?

Anywhere from $400-$1500 per month. This depends if you are renting your home, or how many house-checks we would be doing for you, the size and complexity of your property, and potential projects we will manage for you, etc. Together we design a plan. To be on call for rentals, we charge $250-$650 per rental + the caretaking fee.

5. What our cancellation policy for cleaning?
For cleaning we have a 24-hour cancellation policy on any cleaning job. If it is within 24 hours we charge $150

6. How will our relationship work?
Open communication is the key to a lasting business relationship. We will work to earn your trust as we clean your home or caretake your property.

8. Is Tahoe Green Homecare insured and Licensed?
Yes, Tahoe Green Homecare is insured and Licensed. 

9. What we need from you when we clean your home:
We will need means to access your home. Text or email specifics. You do not need to be present during the service, but if you’re home, we ask you to move into other areas while we work. We will bill you by email. You can pay directly through the invoice.

10. Scheduling around holidays and vacation times?
Often around major holidays, we can book out 2 to 3 weeks, so please schedule your dates needed ASAP!

11. Do I need to provide you with a vacuum cleaner, mop, etc.?
It’s up to you. However, we bring our own cleaning supplies and tools.


12. What are our terms and conditions for payment?
The due date for all invoices is in 3 days after the invoice is issued. We charge 10% interest if an invoice is not paid within 2 weeks and 20% after 4 weeks. 

13. To get an estimate we need to know:

• What is the square footage of your home? How many bedrooms/ bathrooms?

• Would you like us to do laundry?

• Do you have second sets of sheets and towels?

• Do you have kids or pets? 

• How long has it been since you have a professional "deep clean"? 

• What percentage of the home is hard floor vs carpet? 

• Are you a full-time resident in this home?

14. How do we charge for stocking supplies?

We charge $75 per hour from when we leave our office, go to the store, and deliver it to your home, plus %15 of the total grocery/supply list. Delivery and/or staging of these goods in your home is included in this charge. Our minimum shoppinv visit is no lesss than $150 worth of groceries.

15. Our name is Trademarked.

Our name “Tahoe Green Homecare,” is Trademarked by the United States Government. If we find any other local businesses using this name, we will request contact and can take legal action. Thank you for your honoring this.
