Who will be cleaning my home?
A regularly assigned individual or team of trained cleaning technicians will clean your home. Our technicians are non-smokers and will not eat or drink while cleaning your home. Each team / technician is directly supervised by our managers, or our owner, Natalie.
How will our relationship work?
Open communication is the key to any lasting relationship. We will work to earn your trust as we clean your home. We will treat your possessions with care. We rely upon you to provide feedback – what we can do better and what we are doing right – to better serve your needs.
Is Tahoe Green Homecare insured and Licensed?
Yes, Tahoe Green Homecare is insured and Licensed. We will treat your home with the care and respect you would expect. However, should anything be damaged or broken during the cleaning service, Tahoe Green Homecare will make every effort to repair or replace the item. Please accept and understand that poor service, breakage in your home must be reported as soon as possible and within 24 hours from service date.
What is expected before Tahoe Green Homecare comes to clean my home?
Tahoe Green Homecare will expect a means of access to your home to provide the cleaning service. You do not need to be present during the service and you are welcome to remain while we clean. Most customers provide the access code to the garage or a spare key, and some customers meet us and go out while we clean. The choice is yours. Safety and security are very important to us. As a result, we do not ever associate names or addresses with keys. Instead, we use a code system for each house key so that your safety and anonymity are protected. Let us know if you have a special request for that day of service. We enjoy notes from our customers and value their feedback.
When will the scheduled cleaning service occur?
You can schedule regular cleaning service to occur on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. We will even schedule periodic house checks, or if we are caretaking for you there will be much more communication regarding your home’s specific needs.. Once we establish how frequently you want your cleaning service, or for us to check you home (if we are caretaking) we will select a day of the week that will be convenient and then select either mornings or afternoons. Tahoe Green Homecare starts as early as 8- 9::30 am and works until 4-4:30 pm.
How much time is needed for a regularly scheduled cleaning service?
The amount of time Tahoe Green Homecare requires to clean your home depends on the size and needs of your home. We offer a free consultation in your home and provide an estimate for deep cleaning and regular service.
How flexible is Tahoe Green Homecare around holidays and vacation times?
Tahoe Green Homecare is somewhat flexible around holidays and vacation times. We take all federal holidays off and we are willing to accommodate your family’s vacation times and special events. Often around major holidays, we can book out 2 to 3 weeks, so please schedule your dates needed ASAP!
What is the cancellation policy?
Tahoe Green Homecare asks for 48 hours cancellation notice on a regular green clean. If you need to cancel service with us entirely, we ask for a minimum of two weeks notice. If you do not notify Clean and Green Cleaning Service, LLC of a cancellation within 24 hours, we will need to charge you a cancellation fee of $100. All cancellations must be made through the office / owner of the company. Please do not tell your technician. Likewise, if a Tahoe Green Homecare team arrives at your home and is unable to access your home for cleaning, we will need to charge you a fee for non-access.
I Have asthma and Allergies and dust and chemical cleaners really bother me. Can you still clean your home effectively?
Yes, your home isn’t truly clean unless it is cleaned in a natural, safe manner without the use of harmful and irritating strong chemical cleansers. We specialize in deep cleaning and sanitizing using eco-friendly methods that efficiently take care of dust, pollen, dander, odors and allergens.
What are some examples of natural and non-toxic cleaning tips?
Read the labels of cleaning products, you should be able to recognize the names on the list.
Open the windows as you clean, it will help to sweep out the dust and air out odors.
Don’t use ammonia or chlorine-based cleaning products.
Use non-chlorine bleached paper products, or better yet, microfiber and cloth rags that can be thrown in the washing machine.
Opt for all-natural toilet bowl cleaners, oven cleaners and furniture polish that are safe for your home’s toxicity levels.
When in doubt – use elbow grease!
Do I need to provide you with a vacuum cleaner, mop, etc.
For sanitary and cross contamination reasons, it is preferable that clients utilize their own vacuum, microfiber mops, etc. However, if it is necessary, we can also bring those items for cleanings.
